Caipirinha

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Cachaça
  • 1/2 a Lime, cut into quarters
  • 1–2 tsp. Superfine Sugar

Instructions

  1. In a mixing glass, muddle the limes with the sugar and a small amount of water. Add cachaça and shake with ice. Pour, unstrained, into an old-fashioned glass, and top with ice to fill.

Notes

The national drink of Brazil, made with cachaça, an unaged spirit distilled from sugarcane juice, similar to rhum agricole.
